    Description

    This rare 1910s "Red Jacket" litho hinged pocket tobacco tin, measuring 4 3/8" x 1" x 3", is in excellent condition with no dents or rust and some very minor age related paint scratches.  The original high gloss finish remains.  There is a striker on the bottom.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  This highly attractive bright red and black tin with white lettering features an image of jockey wearing a red jacket, sitting in the saddle, holding the reins of his racehorse.  The tobacco was manufactured by the B. Payn's Son's Tobacco Company, Albany, NY in Factory 2, 14th District, NY.
