    Description

A terrific vintage mailable advertising brochure from the famous Warm Springs Hotel in Warm Springs, Georgia. Measures approx. 6 ins. x 4-1/2 ins. when closed and opens as shown. A small space is provided inside for writing a message while the front panel allows ample space for an address and stamp. Overall sound condition with soiling, light foxing and some rubbing along the folds. Not surprising, most of the soiling is to the outside panels. There are also a few tiny imprints to the front panel. This brochure is printed on fairly sturdy card stock, unlike the thin paper brochures most often encountered. While undated, the text refers to a 1941 renovation but also refers to Warm Springs most famous guest, President Franklin. D. Roosevelt, as a three-term President so obviously printed prior to the 1944 election. If you enjoy detail, look closely and you can see a young woman standing in the doorway of the hotel. An uncommon wartime advertising item not likely to be seen often. Questions gladly answered.
